Psylocke Running Slash: the first movement study

A first browser prototype explores running psychic slashes, jumps and dashes while the painted art direction takes shape.

Generated Psylocke Running Slash painted key art.

Psylocke Running Slash begins as an unofficial action-platformer fan project, using the fast side-scrolling action of Genesis-era Strider as a gameplay reference. Prototype 0.1 is a short playable movement and combat study.

Try running psychic slashes, jumps and dashes through the Violet District. This first build uses an early painted animation atlas, with a procedural character fallback if the atlas is unavailable. The generated key art establishes the intended painted look; production frame cleanup and animation refinement remain.

The project page and development journal record what is playable now and what comes next. The original Strider binary and the supplied visual reference files stay outside the public game package. Psylocke and Strider belong to their respective owners.
