1. Scope

Magisoftgames.com is a hub for our game worlds, games hosted on this website, Amazon Appstore listings, and other Magisoft destinations. This policy covers the Magisoft services that link to it and information you provide to us for support. Following an external link takes you to a separate website or service with its own privacy policy.

A particular game, downloadable app, or marketplace listing may provide an additional privacy notice describing its features, permissions, and data practices. Check that notice alongside this policy before using the game.

2. Website Visits and Support

• Website and security logs: technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and errors may be recorded to operate the website and investigate technical or security problems. These logs are separate from the visitor counter described below.
• Support communications: when you contact us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, issue details, and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information to respond and help resolve your request.

Our contact and partnership forms ask for your name, email address, enquiry topic, and message, with optional company and website details. Submitting a form sends your enquiry privately to both our game development and creative teams so they can respond. The forms do not accept attachments or sign you up for marketing. Messages are processed by our hosting and email providers and retained in our team inboxes as needed to handle the conversation.

To limit spam and duplicate messages, we keep temporary security records containing keyed, one-way identifiers derived from network, email, and submission information, plus timestamps, a message reference, and delivery status. This security database does not store your name, readable email or IP address, or message text. Submission records expire after 24 hours and are removed during subsequent form activity; form-opening counters expire after 10 minutes.

These forms use a self-hosted ALTCHA verification check. When you select the verification checkbox, your browser performs a small calculation and sends the result to this website for validation before an enquiry can be sent. The check does not send your enquiry to an external CAPTCHA provider or use advertising or tracking cookies. Challenges expire after five minutes; you can refresh an expired check without losing your message. Temporary challenge and verification records follow the same 24-hour security-record retention described above.

3. Visitor Counter, Cookies, and Browser Storage

The website's visitor counter uses a short-lived, anonymous browser cookie to count a browser once per Eastern Time calendar day. It stores daily totals and one-way, day-specific digests for deduplication, not the cookie token, IP address, browser type, account, or pages visited. Daily counts are retained for up to 365 days, while the cumulative count remains as an aggregate. Only totals are public; the cumulative figure counts visitor-days, not unique people. Turning off or clearing cookies may cause repeat visits to count separately.

Browser games may use local browser storage for settings, save files, or progress. Services with sign-in, cart, or language features may also use cookies, sessions, or local storage to support those features. You can control cookies and clear stored data in your browser; doing so may reset game progress or preferences and affect features that rely on them.

Contact and partnership forms also use a Secure, HttpOnly browser cookie for up to 24 hours to verify submissions and prevent duplicate sends. Individual form verification tokens expire after one hour. This cookie is used for form security, rather than advertising.

4. Games and Downloads

Information handled by a game depends on that game's features. A browser game or Android app may create local save data, settings, or scores. If a game offers online features such as leaderboards, cloud saves, multiplayer, or user-generated content, consult its own notice for the information those features use.

Android permissions and data practices vary by app. Review the specific app's marketplace listing, privacy notice, and device permission prompts. A link from this hub does not mean that every Magisoft game uses the same permissions or collects the same information.

5. Amazon Appstore, LinkedIn, and Other Links

Our Amazon Appstore links open game listings operated by Amazon. Amazon handles its own accounts, downloads, purchases, reviews, and related information under its policies. If you download or buy a Magisoft game there, review both Amazon's privacy information and the notice for that game. We may receive reports, reviews, support messages, or other information made available to developers by the marketplace, depending on the service you use.

Our LinkedIn link opens our presence on LinkedIn. LinkedIn handles information about your visit and any account activity under its own privacy policy and settings. Other game-world, social, and website links likewise lead to services whose information practices are described in their own notices.

6. Account or Purchase Services

If you use a separate Magisoft account, customer library, checkout, or paid download service that links to this policy, the information used for that service may include your email address, password hash, session details, profile information you provide, purchased products, order status, transaction references, and download or entitlement records. These records help maintain your account, confirm payment, provide access and updates, prevent abuse, and answer support requests.

For a service using a payment provider such as Stripe or PayPal, we may receive payment status and transaction identifiers. We do not store full card numbers or PayPal login credentials on our servers. These account and purchase practices apply when you use the relevant service; browsing this hub does not itself create a customer account or order.

7. Use, Sharing, and Retention

We use information to operate our website and games, provide requested services and support, maintain security, investigate abuse or errors, and improve reliability. Where an account or purchase service is used, we also use the relevant records to deliver that service and maintain payment, accounting, and access records.

The visitor counter has the specific retention period described above. We use administrative and technical safeguards to protect information; no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Magisoft Games does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate permission. If a game is directed to children or if we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps required by applicable law, which may include parental notice, consent, restricted use, or deletion.

Use our Contact Us form and choose the privacy subject, with enough detail to identify the service and request. If your request concerns a Magisoft account, provide the associated email address when possible. Please avoid sending passwords or full payment card details.
