Our story · Roots in 2005–2006

About us

We are Magisoft Games. Our story began with Magivolve, an avatar community created in 2005–2006, and grew through our own game websites and games shared with players around the world. That love of characters, creativity, and shared worlds continues today.

Art, characters, and play

A creative journey, one world at a time.

Our roots reach back to Magivolve in 2005–2006, an avatar community built around characters and personal expression. We are currently rebuilding Magivolve, bringing that part of our history into our next chapter.

Our games, shared as Keyeske and Magisoft, reached players through our own websites and were featured on many arcade websites around the world. Newgrounds, Kongregate, itch.io, and Game Jolt are part of that wider distribution story. Today, MagisoftGames.com connects that history with our Amazon apps, current games, and the websites we are restoring and redesigning.

From our first community to today

Our story through the years

Our history brings together an avatar community, our own game websites, worldwide arcade audiences, and the next chapter of our worlds.

  1. 2005–2006
    Our avatar community

    Magivolve begins

We created Magivolve in 2005–2006 as an avatar community—a place for people to express themselves through characters and connect with one another. Archived pages offer a glimpse of that early community and the creative ideas that would grow into our later games and websites.

We are currently rebuilding Magivolve. Its roots in avatars, character art, and community remain part of the creative worlds we make today.

  2. 2007–2008
    Our own places to play

    Dream-Maidens & Dark-Maidens

Our game websites gave dress-up, creative play, and original characters a home of their own. A December 2007 Dream-Maidens archive preserves an opening notice dated December 20, 2007, with further captures showing the site in 2008. Dark-Maidens is preserved in a June 27, 2008 capture, sharing another side of our art and games.

We are restoring and redesigning these websites, with games returning as the work is completed. The archive captures let us look back at their earlier chapters while we build what comes next.

  3. 2007–2009
    Games shared around the world

    Reaching arcade audiences

Many arcade websites around the world featured our browser games, bringing our characters and creative ideas to new players. Examples from this period include Magi-Doll creator, made with angelc0p and shared as Keyeske on Newgrounds in October 2007, and Shaquita’s Bakery on Kongregate in March 2009.

  4. 2011
    Creative play on Amazon

    Growing our app collection

Maidens Avatar Creator Deluxe is part of our early Amazon history. Amazon gives its release year as 2011 and its first listed date as December 21, 2011. Our Amazon collection now brings together 334 games and creative apps, each with its own listing.

  5. Today
    A family of worlds

Games with a home of their own

We continue to build places for our characters, stories, and games while restoring older websites and bringing games back to them. MagisoftGames.com brings those destinations together, from Dream-Maidens and Didga’s Adventure to Shark Hero Dekino, QueenBebop, Cindy Funhouse, and Magivolve. Our developer log shares new releases and finished updates along the way.
