Final Fantasy VII enters the painted arena

Ten painted fighters, four living arenas, and attacks that illuminate the night are ready to play in your browser.

Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Red XIII, Yuffie, Vincent, Cid, Cait Sith, and Sephiroth join a free unofficial fighting fan game using the Fighting in the Streets combat system. The ten characters have 160 painted action poses.

Four painted arenas visit Midgar, Cosmo Canyon, Nibelheim, and the Northern Crater. Their skies move through sunrise, day, sunset, and night. Actual hits and special effects cast light onto the fighters after dark.

Play Lifestream Tour, local versus, or practice with a keyboard or compatible controllers, or watch AI battles. Final Fantasy VII and its characters belong to their respective owners.

What changed

  • Added ten fighters with 160 painted poses and four painted arenas.
  • Added a live day and night cycle, nighttime attack lighting, and a painted title screen.

Each anonymous browser session is counted once per Eastern Time calendar day. Refreshing or moving between pages does not add another count that day. Different browsers or new sessions may count separately. A period total adds its daily counts, so a returning browser counts again on a later day.

The cumulative visitor-days counter keeps adding even after older daily chart rows leave the 365-day view. If older history predates this counter and cannot be recovered, its displayed total is labeled as partial. It is not a count of unique people. Only totals are public. This counter does not store IP addresses, user agents, accounts, or visitor identities. Today and the first tracking day are partial days.
