Choose the preserved Original or a completed HTML5 adventure across nine original mountain, village and cave areas.

Hiro’s Adventure now offers two editions. Original preserves the surviving game’s classic screens, maps, music, shops and inventory, including its unfinished mechanics. HTML5 Recreation uses the recovered original artwork, animation and audio in a completed nine-area adventure: find the crystal shards, battle monsters, upgrade your equipment, defeat the cavern guardian and awaken the Heart Gate.

HTML5 Recreation adds responsive keyboard and touch controls, compatible gamepad play and menu navigation, corrected terrain collision, double jumping, swimming, sword and blaster combat, healing, waystone checkpoints, upgrades, a final guardian and an ending. Progress saves locally on this device, with backup and restore controls. Original and HTML5 saves are separate. Controller availability depends on your browser and device.

How visitors are counted

Each anonymous browser session is counted once per Eastern Time calendar day. Refreshing or moving between pages does not add another count that day. Different browsers or new sessions may count separately. A period total adds its daily counts, so a returning browser counts again on a later day.

The cumulative visitor-days counter keeps adding even after older daily chart rows leave the 365-day view. If older history predates this counter and cannot be recovered, its displayed total is labeled as partial. It is not a count of unique people. Only totals are public. This counter does not store IP addresses, user agents, accounts, or visitor identities. Today and the first tracking day are partial days.
