Fox Boi Runner now has an HTML5 Recreation

Choose the preserved Original Edition or a new HTML5 Recreation with the original MagiSoft artwork.

Both browser editions are now available from the game page. Original Edition preserves the classic game; HTML5 Recreation rebuilds its gameplay using the original sprites, backgrounds, animation and audio.

The continuous runner rebuilds random hazards, jumping, enemy attacks, gem collection and the temporary powered-up mode.

The recreation supports keyboard, touch and compatible controllers, with pause, restart, sound, full-screen controls and a best gem score saved on this browser. Switch between editions from the player header.

What changed

  • Added a separate HTML5 Recreation beside the Original Edition.
  • The continuous runner rebuilds random hazards, jumping, enemy attacks, gem collection and the temporary powered-up mode.
  • Added clear edition choices on the game page and in the player.
  • Added keyboard, touch and compatible-controller mappings, pause, restart, sound and local best scores.

How visitors are counted

Each anonymous browser session is counted once per Eastern Time calendar day. Refreshing or moving between pages does not add another count that day. Different browsers or new sessions may count separately. A period total adds its daily counts, so a returning browser counts again on a later day.

The cumulative visitor-days counter keeps adding even after older daily chart rows leave the 365-day view. If older history predates this counter and cannot be recovered, its displayed total is labeled as partial. It is not a count of unique people. Only totals are public. This counter does not store IP addresses, user agents, accounts, or visitor identities. Today and the first tracking day are partial days.
