Fox Boi Adventure Original Edition startup repaired
The Original Edition now waits for the game to be ready before enabling play.
An independent review found an intermittent first-load failure in Fox Boi Adventure Original Edition. The player could finish loading its files before the game had registered its browser controls, and the old opening wait could expire too soon.
The Original Edition now starts the runtime explicitly and waits for its controls to register. Time spent in a hidden tab does not consume the visible startup wait, and restarting waits for a fresh game instance. The original artwork, rooms, music and gameplay are retained.
Startup and restart checks include the real Original player with autoplay disabled, focused delayed/background initialization tests, fresh public loads and the original seven-room course. Physical controller and phone verification remains outstanding.
What changed
- Repaired the Original Edition first-load readiness handshake.
- Stopped calling browser controls before the game registers them.
- Made the startup deadline account for hidden tabs and slower initialization.
- Cleared stale control registrations before restarting the original movie.
