Beat Em Up Sam returns as a free native HTML5 game with its original artwork, screens, audio and gameplay. Punch approaching enemies, protect your HP, and see how many fights you can win.

Click or tap Punch to attack. On a gamepad, A is Punch; View/Select enables the menu cursor. The controller cursor also supports menu navigation. Controller settings supports per-device button and axis remapping, inversion and stick calibration for unfamiliar layouts.

The surviving editable source made this HTML5 restoration possible. A compiled original build has not been recovered, so an Original Edition is not offered for this title.

  • Restored the original game artwork, screens and sounds in HTML5.
  • Added controller actions and cursor controls for menus.
  • Recovered the game from its surviving editable source.

How visitors are counted

Each anonymous browser session is counted once per Eastern Time calendar day. Refreshing or moving between pages does not add another count that day. Different browsers or new sessions may count separately. A period total adds its daily counts, so a returning browser counts again on a later day.

The cumulative visitor-days counter keeps adding even after older daily chart rows leave the 365-day view. If older history predates this counter and cannot be recovered, its displayed total is labeled as partial. It is not a count of unique people. Only totals are public. This counter does not store IP addresses, user agents, accounts, or visitor identities. Today and the first tracking day are partial days.
