Stages share a moving sun and moon. Night shades the painted cast; bright attacks illuminate nearby fighters.

Normal time is 24 minutes per day. Speed up time to test sunrise, sunset, seasons and weather; 60× takes 24 seconds per day. Time keeps moving during fights and menus across every stage. Return to global cycle restores normal speed.
